Hi
I have recently setup as a freelance QS (in the UK) & am looking for a little advice/training on to get myself on track with running the accounts.
My first set of invoices were done on excel, but I have now started using Wave as an accounting software, it took a long while to get my bank to open a business account for me, so I have a number of payments & expenses paid into/ out of my personal account which I need to show in wave.
I would also then like some pointers in how/how much to pay myself to be most tax efficient & how to make sure I don't get a nasty tax bill later (either personally or the business) that I can't afford to pay!
Also just in case there is someone with the relevant experience in both places I also have another business (exactly the same) in NZ but currently on a smaller scale. This is not the most important thing for me right now but if you have any comments/advice on running businesses in these 2 countries it would be welcomed.
Thanks
