www.livedo.co.uk is an interactive online dating website. It’s members will submit personals via video, each clip lasting between approx 30-40 seconds. I want the site to be reminiscent of the likes of youtube, facebook, myspace and any other major social networking sites, but to stand apart as the newest form of meeting the opposite sex whether it be for friendship, dating or more.
It is realised that the younger age group is somewhat nervous in using a dating site. For a multitude of reasons, there is common thought that people of a younger age group (20-35, my main target audience)) should have no problem meeting people.
Livedo must appear to be the “hip” new thing, it needs to give the appearance as being a cool thing to try, not some last resorts for singles.
Conversely, for the older crowd, although this is not as important a niche market, it really matters less that it appears to be a hip option, this option must give off the impression that it is effective in finding someone’s match. Additionally each group has different goals that they hope to get out of this service. The younger crowd is looking more for someone to spend time with, a short-term commitment relationship. The older crowd facing the realities of companionship are looking for a more long-term relationship.
Possible slogan ideas are:
Livedo, kickstart your libido. www.livedo.co.uk, underneath stating video online dating or interactive online dating Liivedo= Love video (kinda anagram) Livedo, fast forward, skip, eject (based on the buttons and symbols of a vcr or live life in the fast line.
