General information for the business: Need a production scheduler
Description of requirements/functionality: Stage 1
The scheduler or master2 sheet needs to link in all of the timings for each product, so when a product is entered or selected via dropdown (Dropdown is preferable I believe), and a start time is entered it should populate the relevant cells for timing and the processes involved.
Also needs to link and calculate all of the staff required for the stages of production, whilst linking to their points system
Stage 2
Adding on to stage 1, automates the most efficient use of the different ovens depending on when products are started which in turn dictates oven availability.
Needs error reporting when a start time is incorrect (It clashes with another product), then flag up to the user
Potential to record all activities within the business, e.g. cleaning, dispatch and reporting
Forecasting possibilities, so enter an amount of a product they want to make and it flags up any capacity or labour issues.
Additional Info
They have around 50 lines however, on a typical day 10-15 lines are produced.
Master2 should pull times from product timing2
