What you get with this Offer
Get off to a flying start in Android development!
This is a 5 days course, 3 hours per day. If you prefer to spread the days out over the course of a couple of weeks then thats fine, we can arrange something that suits your busy schedule.
If you are brand new to programming then this course will focus initially on the over arching principles of coding apps such as object oriented programming, from within an Android context. You will be writing apps from the get go, jumping right in with an experience Android developer and walking through the Android development life cycle head on.
If you already know the basics of programming and are comfortable with OOP terminology then we will focus more on the specifics of the Android SDK, working through key packages/classes, patterns, and the life cycle of an Android app.
You are always free to ask questions or request a particular area of the Android sdk that you would like to get to grips with. Asking questions is important, dont be shy, just ask!
Here are just a few of the topics we will be covering
1) Review of Object Oriented Principles,
2) Creating a simple calculator app (or an app of your choosing)
3) UI/UX - making things look nice!
4) Using external libraries in your apps
4) The lifecycle of an Android App
