What the Freelancer needs to start the work
Before starting the project, I will need:
1. SSH Access to your VM / Server where Nagios needs to be installed.
2. Sudo Rights on the VM for Package Installation.
3. Specification of service check frequency and recipient addresses for services in alert state. I can advise on this.
4. ICMP port between the Target CIs and Nagios server should be open in the firewall.
5. SNMP should up and running on Target CIs.
6. For advance monitoring - CPU, Memory, Filesystem - I will assist in installing NRPE and the required nagios plugins, provided that I have access to those CIs/Servers.
