I have experience in creating voiceovers for explainer videos, information videos, sales videos and training videos, as well as audiobooks. I’m happy to record podcasts, intros, ads and phone prompts and hold messages, too.

This offer is for one script of up to 150 words. I will provide 2 versions of the recording so you may choose the one you prefer – or why not split-test and use both?

I include one round of alterations suggested by you. Any errors on my part will be corrected for no cost. No adult, religious or offensive material.

Voiceover will be provided in a standard British-English accent. I can, though, record in my native Derbyshire dialect (incomprehensible to most) or in a passable (just) Welsh valleys accent (schooled by my wife!)

Please note: this hourlie does not include editing the voiceover to sync with your slide video or the addition of a music track. Check my add-ons for these services.

For scripts longer than 150 words, please order multiple hourlies/extras for each 150 words or part thereof. For scripts longer than 450 words, please contact me via the workstream for a specific quote.

This is for two reasons – first, I want to be sure I can get your voiceover to you within the required timeframe and second, I may be able to offer you a lower cost per word.

What the Seller needs to start the work

Your well-proofed script and an indication of the style in which you want the voiceover (VO) produced – e.g. 'authoritative', 'business-like', 'friendly', 'salesy' etc.

Let me know how to pronounce any words or names you feel I may find unfamiliar and, if possible, give me a link to where I may hear them pronounced as you would like or, better yet, send me an MP3 of you saying them!

If you’re ordering the sync-to-slides or add music add-ons, I'll need your slide video and/or music track. If your video is of PowerPoint slides, consider ordering the PowerPoint add-on, too, and sending me the slide presentation, as it's highly likely that a better end result will be had by re-recording them as well.

Sync-to-slides is for one VO version only and will be done once you've approved and chosen the version to be used. Should you wish me to sync both versions, please order additional add-ons.
