Good logo design is about far more than a cool icon or graphic with an appropriate font; it needs to represent your business' core values, your approach to marketing and really encompass what it is you do. Also, the logo needs to be viable and by that I mean it has to work across any and all media that you intend to use it on, from websites and business cards through to packaging, uniforms and signage. Luckily, because we also make all those things as well as just design, I know what works and what doesn't!
My process begins with a phone/skype call to discuss your business, get a feel about what you're about and then go away and come up with a few concepts. Based on your opinions of those, we'll revise the design(s) until we get the perfect logo. I'm always available on the phone throughout the project and for advice later on if need be.
You'll receive all the original artwork files and all rights to them. Files will be delivered in a range of formats including low and high resolution JPEG, Transparent PNG (for web use), vector files which can be resized to any dimension without loss of quality and print ready PDF files which can be given to any professional printer without any further work.
You'll also receive your stationery artwork (business cards, letterheads and compliment slips) in print ready PDF files which can be given to any professional printer. Additionally, if you'd like your files in a format that can be printed on a standard desktop printer then I can give you them like that as well.

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
As much of a brief as you're able. If you're not really sure what direction you want your new branding to go in, that's ok too, it's something we can work out together.
We know all the questions we need to ask to get a good idea of where to start work, so if all you've got is a name, we're good to go anyways. Additionally, if you've got a firm idea of exactly what you want and just need it drawn, we're good with that too.
