If you are a client of DigitalOcean hosting provider then you will need just to tell me your email and I will transfer server image with installed MODX to you.
This installation includes: Ubuntu 14.04, latest MODX version, PHP5, MySQL or PostgreSQL and all required modules, Nginx or Apache.
