What you get with this Offer
Thinking about launching your own label? Already working on your first collection but unsure on how to bring it to life? Whichever stage you are at, starting your own brand is not easy.
MA Graduate from the London of Fashion, I've been working in the fashion industry for over 10 years. I ran my own womenswear label for 4 years and now work as a design consultant specialising in startups. I also own a pattern cutting and sampling studio called London Pattern Bureau and work alongside independent designers and budding entrepreneurs on a daily basis. I have learned of lot from their (and my own) mistakes and have a deep understanding of all aspects the industry. Whether you're looking for advice on design, product development, sourcing or manufacturing, I can help and guide you in the right direction.
Bio
Founder and director of London Pattern Bureau, Renée Lacroix is an MA graduate from the London College of Fashion. Originally from Canada, she moved to the UK in 2010 to undertake a Master in Sustainable Fashion. A formally trained womenswear designer and highly skilled pattern cutter, she has over ten years experience in the field. She started her career by volunteering for Awamaki, a Peru-based NGO working with indigenous female weavers. She then worked as a Junior Designer in the Outerwear department of a leading Canadian apparel company before relocating to London. As a student, she won several design awards & scholarships, including the TFRC Future Fashion Textile Competition. After a short stint with highly-acclaimed ethical designer Christopher Raeburn, Renée launched her own slow fashion womenswear label Antithesis.
