What you get with this Offer
Hey there!
My name is Joel and I've been a videographer for the past eight years. Editing a wide variety of projects, I have developed a thorough understanding of Adobe Premiere Elements and Premiere Pro CC. Helping clients learn new skills in Premiere is a passion of mine. Whether you're new to video editing or looking to pick up some new skills, I'm here to help!
My philosophy of teaching is based on the idea that people generally remember 10% of what they hear, 30% of what they see, and 75% of what they do. That's just a fancy way of saying I let you practice what I'm demonstrating rather than just talking the entire time. Using a program called TeamViewer, I am able to point out various functions of Premiere and record the session so you can review anything we covered later.
Though there are plenty of YouTube tutorials out there, clients often tell me that they appreciate the ability to talk to a real person and ask questions as they are learning. I've also been pleased to find that the ability to talk and screenshare over the internet has been just about as effective as in-person tutoring.
I have worked with celebrity impressionists making content for TikTok and Instagram, streamers editing gaming montages, musicians posting videos on YouTube, professionals marketing their business, and much more. In particular, I have worked with a number of parents of elementary and middle school youth who want to supplement their students' education with weekly video editing lessons... it's sort of like digital piano lessons! Even if you're not sure what kinds of videos you'd like to make, I'm happy to help you figure out what's the most enjoyable part of the creative process.
On a personal note, I am friendly, enthusiastic, and service-minded. I easily roll with the punches and, perhaps most importantly for giving lessons, I am patient and committed to helping you achieve your learning goals.
I'm happy to answer any questions you might have and would be happy to give it a trial run to see if I'm a good fit for you. I am also happy to provide references from past clients.
Thanks for reading and I look forward to hearing from you!
