I am a technical recruiter, sourcing active and passive candidates through Linkedin in the IT industry. I function primarily in the UK & German market sourcing mid-senior level Sales, Marketing, Development, and Support positions.
I have a huge network in the Western Europe on Linkedin. I work with narrow specifications like industry, language, location, experience, etc.
I also do screening wherein I address questions asked by candidates about the job and gather information regarding their skills, experience, notice period, other job searches if any and career plan. Asking for referrals is something I do with most candidates who are not interested in changing jobs at the moment.
When the job spec has very specific requirements, I do company search using extermely targeted names by way of deep research through publications, event websites, etc.
I typically track candidates sourced using Google Sheets. I also do analytics to find out the success rate of candidates sourced, the progress achieved.
