I can illustrate and design your book cover. I specialize in children's books although I can also design book covers for adults. I currently work as a children's book designer for a mass market publisher, and have designed book covers for Disney, Pixar, Dreamworks, Marvel, DC and many more. so I can bring a lot of up to date market experience and knowledge to your book design.
I will most probably need the maximum 5 days to read the book and get a firm grasp of what the cover should look like, both reflecting the story and feel of the book as well as being eye catching and ready to jump out of any bookshelf.
research is very important to any work I do. I will make sure the book cover is portrayed in the right way and aimed correctly to the desired target audience.
font is also a big factor with book covers and I never settle on one until I find one that fits and in some cases I will make my own font if nothing else will match up.
