Good to work with

I gave Meryem a specific brief to design a brochure and what she came back with really didn't hit the mark. I then gave her a list of specific examples (which I shouldn't have to tbh as I would hope a design just "gets it") and although her second attempt was better, it was still not right for us. She only came up with the first couple of pages on both attempts to see what I thought. As we were on a tight deadline we designed it in-house in the end and I then offered to pay her half of the invoice (seeing as the first design wasn't great and the second wasn't bad but still not right). This offer was completely ignored by her and she sent through the full invoice without a simple acknowledgement of was offering (I paid it of course and it's not about the money, it's about common courtesy and proper communication) so due to that, won't be using again.
