What you get with this Offer
This is for a static website. But as your website grows it is probable that you will want it to be more intelligent - by which i mean you will need it to have some basic input/output functionality, have it secure etc. I can also do this, at the same rate (a days work is a days work afterall), however it will take longer.
Step 1: The Requirements
We sit down on the phone or other service and discuss everything your website needs to be. After we discuss what you want, we discuss what is the most important. I will provide time estimates for each piece of work
Step 2: The Design
Using a wireframing tool like figma, You will be able to see the proposed design of the website
Step 3: The Coding
Code should never be thrown away - I will give you the code source incase you decide to work with another developer in the future. I will host my work on GitHub. The work which I do can be tracked through Jira via their lovely charts (automatic as work is pushed to Github).
Step 4: Delivery
I will provide an IP address for you to look at and see if it is acceptable
Step 5: Hosting (OPTIONAL) - it takes almost no time so its just here for free
Hosting is putting your website on a machine which will respond to requests made by people on the internet. This is an ongoing cost and regardless of what you read - you can NEVER pay a one time cost for this. Cost CAN be minimised using cloud providers such as Google - they will lend you a piece of a computer for as low as £5 a month (they will also give you £300 in free spending so almost nothing, but it does cost eventually - please don't be scammed as one time costs lead to computers eventually shutting off and along with it your website).

What the Freelancer needs to start the work
1) The requirements for the website - I.e. "I need a website for my restaurant. Right now all i need is contact, location and menu. However later I would like people to be able to book tables at my restaurant and then even order their meals through the website"
2) If you have any ideas in mind
3) What functionality you would need it to have
4) Whether you need a "responsive" website (some websites appear slightly differently on mobiles to fit the screen better)
5) Whether you want a "secure" website
6) Do you need hosting?
7) Do you have a domain name?
