Create Automated Analytical Excel Dashboards

Lots of companies store data in excel and use it as their main way of capturing information. When it comes to analyzing the data and using it to make informed decisions, a lot of businesses fall down as analysis and reporting are all done retrospectively. Using the power of Excel and macro's I can take a lot of the manual time out of getting answers to burning questions using the data.

In this offer, I will create a summarised dashboard highlighting key information and headlines using automated formulas so that minimal manual effort is needed to populate the figures. I will work closely with you to discuss the layout, prioritizing useful and powerful information, then focussing on the numbers that are broken down from the main headline figures.

The dashboard itself will utilize many Excel features and functions to visualize the data and make it easy to read, these include:
- Sparklines to indicate Trends quickly
- Datatables are a standard way of displaying information in a tidy structured manner
- Conditional Formatting used on headline figures for quick indication of issues
- Graphs used to display historical and ongoing data
- Different graph types will be used to display appropriate data
- Use of date functions for data-driven reporting
- Export Function for Raw Data using date filters to control output range

Dashboards will use the system calendar to display relevant data in relation to the current day's date. Using the automatically populated fields, meetings and end-of-shift reports will be filled out quicker meaning decisions will be made faster using controlled data. The less time staff have to use reporting the more time they can use on more valuable activities and firefighting.
