Unlike raster images, which are made from a fixed number of pixels, vector graphics are created using scalable paths and shapes. This means a suitable vectorised image can be enlarged or reduced without the usual pixelation caused by resizing, making the same artwork much more flexible for different uses.
The resulting SVG can be particularly useful when your logo or artwork needs to appear at different sizes across websites, presentations, printed materials, signage, merchandise and other design applications. Vector artwork can also be easier for designers and printers to work with when the original consists of clear shapes, lines and colours.
