I recently completed a master's in Applied Neuropsychology at the University of Bristol, receiving a distinction and the Cheyne McCallum award for the best dissertation. Now a Top Cert Freelancer, my literature reviews have led me to presenting at, and having my work presented for me, at national conferences.
My degree involved writing numerous academic essays and lab reports. Due to this, I have a nuanced understanding of a skilled academic writing style and scientific referencing/literature searching. On top of that, I collated several literature searches as a freelance Assistant Psychologist for a Consultant Neuropsychologist. Since then I have grown from strength to strength. I have completed multiple literature reviews for charities, not-for-profit organisations, and psychology professionals. On the back of one of my literature reviews, for a consultant neuropsychologist, I was invited to London to present at an Annual British Psychological Society workstream on Mild Cognitive Impairment. This experience was highly challenging but extremely rewarding. I have subsequently had a literature review I completed for a Speech and Language therapy charity presented to hundreds of speech and language therapists at a conference.
My proofreading and editing experience is also vast, with some reviews describing me as being 'born with a pencil in his hand'. I feel that is a bit over the top, but I think it shows that I know how to make a piece of work/CV/Personal statement engaging and enticing!
