Chase a debt and prepare court proceedings

A series of three letters will be sent chasing your debt with an emphasis on immediate collection. The series is also compliant with the pre-action protocols that need to be followed before court proceedings are issued.

If payment in full is not received as a result of the chase letters we will go on to prepare the court documents you need to issue proceedings to recover the debt in the small claims court using their online procedure.

You will receive full details and support in issuing your claim and we will be available to provide ongoing assistance if required once you receive the defence (if any) to your claim.

Ongoing advice is subject to additional fees to be agreed before work commences. Court fees are payable by you in addition to our fees and can be confirmed for you at the outset. Payment of our fee is to be released prior to the first letter being sent out. The entire collection process can be expected to take between 6 to 10 weeks depending on the collection amount and the complexity of any issues. This fee applies only to small claims up to a maximum value of £6,000.
