What the Freelancer needs to start the work

We need 3 simple things from you:

1. We will send you a link to our website so you can book a consultation with one of lawyers. You can arrange this online at a date and time you choose. This is needed to allow us to open a client file, take your details, check your eligibility for divorce (full refund if you are not eligible), discuss your facts (adultery, unreasonable behaviour, desertion, 2/5 years separation), to explain the divorce process, to discuss any negotiations you want us to undertake with your ex.

2. Provide us with a clear, legible copy of your marriage certificate. If you don't have a copy of your marriage certificate we can help you with that but we legally cannot proceed with your divorce without it.

3. There is a £550 court application fee which isn't included in the price. You can pay this directly to the court yourself, you can send us the money to pay for you, you can instruct us to ask your ex to contribute in advance or you can pay the fee and instruct us to apply for a divorce costs order to recover some or all of the fee from your ex but we need your instructions on this before we can proceed. We can advise you on this during your consultation but please be aware there is a mandatory fee set by the government and we can't proceed with your petition unless it is paid. We are making you aware now as it would be unfair to give us a poor review for not delivering the service if you cannot pay the fee when you purchase the service.
