Agentic Procurement — Autonomous Purchase Order Management

I will build an agentic procurement workflow — an agent that monitors inventory levels, identifies reorder requirements based on configured thresholds, selects approved vendors, generates purchase orders, routes for approval within defined limits, and logs all procurement activity to your ERP or procurement system. Procurement workflows are well-suited for agentic automation because they are rule-governed (clear reorder thresholds, approved vendor lists, and approval limits), multi-system (touching inventory, vendor management, approval workflows, and ERP), and currently manual despite being almost entirely deterministic within normal parameters.

The workflow covers inventory monitoring integration, reorder trigger logic, vendor selection from approved list, PO generation, approval routing within defined limits, ERP logging, and exception escalation for unusual procurement scenarios.
