Sherman Oaks, CA, USShe works at a $10 per hour rate, and only was able to complete a small portion (1/5) (20%) of the project required. Be careful if choosing a fixed price when working with per hour laborers. We needed another worker to wrap up the work.

The client accepted my proposal where I wrote that I work for 10GBP.
I've got the job late evening and the very next day in the morning I send a message to the client with few hours work that covers first few hours (to get paid and continue). The client did not answer almost the whole day. I also wrote to him that I am catching the flu and need some help. Even so, I said we can NEG about the rate. So he replied quite late (almost before he need to send the work) and did not accept that the rate was not fixed. He did not want to NEG.
1006 rows of excel for 40GBP?????? That was at least 10 hours work.
Who would work for 4GBP per hour?????? I will not. And I was clear about it.
