Glasgow, GBSimon is editing a legal text book for me and, as ever, his work is to a very high standard. he has a keen eye for detail and gives loads of advice. I am using his services for a second time (second book) because he is brilliant at what he does. Simon has also been extremely patient with me moving timeframes and not communicating in a timely manner. I need him to work on all my books! Highly recommended.

Glasgow, GBSimon is the consummate professional, but I think he must have a team of elves working for him because he is so fast and efficient! I have used PPH many times now and I'm used to loads of bids from inexperienced people. Simon was a "rookie" on PPH so that's always a bit of a gamble, but his bid stood out from the rest in how perfect and typo-free his proposal was (exactly want you need from a proofreader!). Well, I sent Simon a book to review and he sent it back within TWO DAYS so I wasn't expecting much in the way of quality. I was wrong about that. I was delighted and very impressed with the document I got back, with tracked changes and comments. Simon is definitely a picky proofreader! He quite rightly didn't want to change the writing style, but his keen eye picked up all sorts of errors, from sentences that did not flow well; to punctuation errors, spelling mistakes, even a character's change in occupation and changes to the timeline in the story that did not fit! He also did formatting-type changes: I am an old school typist who still does two spaces after a full stop, but this is not the done thing in publishing. Simon corrected every double carriage return.
I cannot fault Simon's work. It's flawless. I'm so impressed with his efficiency that I only wish he could run my life for me :) Thanks for a brilliant job, Simon.
Hire him! But not too many of you because I really want to use Simon's skills for my next project!
