I have 15 years experience in administration and have worked in a number of industries including Sales, Recruitment, Training, Project Management, I.T. and Human Resources.     Italy
    Upon the sale of my husband’s business in the UK, we took the decision to purchase a house in Italy. During this time I have freelanced as an administrator and provided back office support in the UK and in Italy.


    Research & Development Administrator
    My role involved ensuring CRA’s followed a seamless path through the Research & Development process, providing guidance and support and directing enquiries where relevant. Assisting with documentation required for Ethics and R&D approval, maintaining and updating SOP’s, organising training where relevant, liaising with finance to monitor the budget and maintaining all site visit records. I also provided organisational and administrative support to the R&D Department and assisted in the collection of research data for National Research Returns, Annual Reports and Funding. I was responsible for updating the R&D website, organising regular research events in order to promote research within the hospital and liaising with pharmaceutical companies in order to attract sponsorship for such events. I was also Secretary to the R&D Committee, arranging, attending and taking minutes of meetings as appropriate.


    Orange Group
    People & Culture Development – Team Administrator
    My role was support to a team of 6 ranging from Department Heads to Senior Project Managers and providing Personal Assistant support to the Director of People & Culture Development. The role was varied and included managing the Director's calendar, providing the first point of contact for Leadership Development teams and other HR teams across the Orange Group. Maintaining good open lines of communication across the business and liaising at every level from Board down, as well as cross country and cross-culture. I was also responsible for maintaining our cost centre budget, highlighting over spend, handling incoming invoices and resolving Finance issues with orders and payments. Liaising with third parties to book international travel and conference meeting arrangements as well as maintaining team holiday, sickness and training records. I also co-ordinated internal HR projects including an international employee rewards program and the annual employee recognition event. One of my main achievements in this role was the implementation of an international jobs board within the Orange Group comprising of 27 countries.


    Capability Development Administrator
    My role was PA to the Head of Capability Development and support to a team of 3 HR Consultants and Managers. I was responsible for maintaining the UK employee Performance Management database, providing high level reports to HR Managers and Directors on performance agreements and ratings for their teams, providing reports on Senior Manager’s bonus and responding to user feedback on the performance management system. My administration duties would include managing the Head of Capability Developments calendar, book travel arrangements, conference and meeting arrangements, raising purchase orders in line with our cost centre budget, handling incoming invoices and resolving finance issues with orders and payments.



    Project Co-ordinator
    Whilst working for Computacenter I worked in 2 different departments, Training and Projects. Within a year of starting with the company I was promoted to Project Co-ordinator and worked on various projects including Astra Zeneca, AXA Sun Life and Orange. My duties would include administering the project configuration management system which involves a document library for all project documentation with version control, maintaining the project risk and issue logs, monitor and reporting on all project costs against budget, attend and minute project progress meetings, provide documentation for project reports and book project resources. From December 02 to May 04 I worked on a large project in Orange and was responsible for supervision of 8 database administrators and 6 engineers. I was involved in many stages of this project including application packaging where I was responsible for liaising with 3rd parties and chair weekly progress meetings to track and agree the application workflow along with the associated costs.


    Training Sales Co-ordinator
    During my time in Training, I was responsible for the day-to-day support to the Training Account Manager. My duties would include responding to customers training requirements and booking the relevant courses and trainer, ensure all joining instructions were actioned by the administration department, invoicing and assisting with credit control, attend and minute customer review meetings, regular monitoring of customers allocated budgets and delivering small quotes to customers and monitoring their progression.
    Education Summary: Maths, Contemporary Social Studies, Computer Studies, Secretarial Studies, German, Accounts, Home Economics, Physical Education, Word Processing and Shorthand.
