I provide a range of support in relation to fundraising, based on my experience as a bid writer and charitable trust manager, each role informing the other, including prospect research, bid writing and strategic support to enable organisations to devise and deliver a fundraising strategy that is appropriate to their needs. I also provide support in relation to governance including trustee skills audits, trustee search, review of governance systems, governance support including assistance with meeting planning, agendas and minutes.

I currently run my own charity consultancy, Goldfinch Charity Consultants, and also administer a medium-sized charitable trust, the Woodroffe Benton Foundation. My previous roles have included governance lead at a Sixth Form College, grant assessor for BBC Children in Need and a long-term role as an executive at the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts. I have had considerable experience as a fundraiser for a number of small charities. I have a BSc (Hons) in Geography from University College, London and an advanced Secretarial Diploma from Pitmans College.
