Oceanside, CA, USStarted well, but didn't end as well. Its not good to charge extra and send an invoice when the cost was not agreed. Especially, when the extra content is not needed. That was not considerate. We hope the best for your business, but make sure the communication is clear and consider your clients needs. Expectations need to be met without any surprises.

The communication in the workstream clearly stated what my payment terms are and when you accepted my proposal you effectively accepted these terms. Regarding the extra content, you sent me nothing more than screenshots and a link with dummy text on most pages and you clearly asked me to create content for those pages. I sent you clear and concise questions regarding each page then worked on the content according to your responses. You knew my rates were according to word count and not per project so to claim you did not ask for the content now is a little redundant. Ask yourself this ... why would a content writer put in the time and effort of creating content the client did not ask for? All of this was clearly communicated to you in the workstream from the very beginning.
I value the relationships I have developed with my clients and their needs are my priority. However, I also value my time so I would not have wasted precious time creating content you had not asked for. I hope you will be more forthcoming with freelancers in the future and let them know you will be expecting extra work that you will not be willing to pay for once it's completed. It is unethical to request work and then decide you don't want it once you have it and then refuse to pay for the service.

Cleveland, OH, USRelationship started off great, however the quality of work seemed to fade as projects continued.

Thank you for the opportunity. I must admit I am a little puzzled with your review and the lack of communication for well over a week was a little disconcerting. I would have been more than happy to revise any work had you simply asked me to. I wish you the best of luck and success.
