New Brighton, GBA good proof reading job overall but I had to work hard to ensure the quality of flow was maintained with what I wanted and had to make several requests to do this.

Tom worked much harder than he needed to; so much so that it was difficult to see why he had engaged the services of a professional proofreader at all. He repeatedly disputed essential corrections before deciding that he would accept or reject them âto balance readability with grammarâ. Trying to guess which erroneous verb ending a client prefers doesnât make a proofreaderâs job easy.
Tomâs rather hectic approach to this project, together with some depressingly graceless communications, made heavy weather of a straightforward proofreading task. The end result was happier than this feedback allows: print-ready proofs, a complimentary style guide, and my continued good wishes for the future.
