There are times when there is absolutely nothing you can do to reason with a client about their unrealistic expectations and with the best will in the world, you have to let them down to protect yourself and your other clients. This was an extremely unpleasant experience and thankfully rare. Fortunately, my many happy clients make up for the occasional impossible client. Sad that assertive women still are the subject of misogyny which add to difficulties. I tried to suggest he go to someone else, but he insisted I help him due to time pressure... I tried... I failed... It happens...
