Dagenham, GBThe work was awful the timescales and lack of communication was atrocious. I would never use this person again
Cassie ..
I always do my best and aim to establish a good relationship with clients so feel extremely disappointed by Stuart's behaviour.
Of course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion and writing is very subjective, but if my work is not satisfactory I hope that clients will let me know and give me the opportunity to take remedial action.
Having completed the original brief I was asked to do additional work which I completed. I was then given yet more work to do. Given that I had completed the first two briefs without receiving any feedback I assumed that there were no issues and raised an invoice. This is when the problems started!
Stuart refused to pay the invoice without any explanation at all. When asked for clarification he said that my work was "rubbish". I asked for constructive criticism so that I could rectify the situation but was told that he didn't have the time to do this.
It is exceedingly strange that a buyer would continue to request additional writing (not once but twice!), if they are unhappy with the original work and it has left me feeling quite disillusioned. Why do so many buyers think that freelancers work for love alone?
