Trained Level 1 agents on their jobs and responsibilities as well as acting as a point of contact for them to resolve problems. Had heavy involvement with the formulation of policy which Bing advertisers had to follow, and was in charge of the UK gambling policy. Other tasks included chairing meetings, taking minutes and participating in conference calls with Microsoft UK, US and France.

    This role also required analysing adverts that advertisers submitted and checking for spelling errors, grammatical mistakes and false advertising claims.

    Achievements

    • Created a UK gambling database which was then copied by colleagues who oversaw other policy areas
    • Created initiatives to help the training of newcomers and improve the performance of existing employers. One such idea was based upon an intranet training resource which I advertised throughout the company.
    • Became stand-in Subject Matter Expert (SME) gaining more responsibility in decision making for advertiser’s accounts, and liaised with the Microsoft legal team to solve policy issues.
