City of London, GBI'am sure the guy had good intentions, but ..
Not a single sale in 2.5 months, but you pays your money and you takes your choice
Afraid I cannot recommendArtseo Sem
With all due respect, this review and opinion is inaccurate. This was actually a SEO project and not a sales one. In order to get sales you need to get to the top, but even then if the product or the sales pages is not good, the SEO company has no control on the sales. We, as a SEO team, did all we promised and even delivered great improvements on the keywords rankings. But you don't directly jump in top 3 with a website, everything happens gradually. We only did 2 small campaigns of 99 GBP which actually gave some great results and here are some examples (I won't show the exact keywords because that would be unprofessional):
Keyword 1 (big general competitive and most important) from 80 to 23
Keyword 2 (again a big keyword which actually got in top 10) from 50 to 8
Keyword 3 (smaller kw but still important) from 12 to 1
keyword 4 not in top 100 to position 17
keyword 5 from 80 to 15
etc.
So these 2 campaigns that we did got the client real improvements and of course that if he would have continued with our services most of the keywords would be on top and the sales would start to come. But again this wasn't a sale project but an improve keywords one, which we did very well. The client’s website gained more visibility, but converting views into sales is a totally different matter that we were not responsible with. There are countless reasons why someone may not want to buy from a website, even if it does appear on the first page: high prices, web design, personal preferences, product variety etc. All of these are out of our control and I think it’s unreasonable to expect sales improvements at this point.
So for any one who is concerned about this review please contact me ask for details and I will send exact records of our work.
In the end, it's frustrating to see that you provide some very good services to a client, he sees real results but in the end he is unhappy and writes an inaccurate review. -
