I have acted as the first point of contact for employees therefore becoming a confident and outgoing member of the team. I value being a team player and I am flexible, able to work to deadlines and multi-task, ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters. I am highly proficient in computer packages such as MS Office Suite Windows 10, also fast Audio Typist competent in completing general administration where required. I am methodical and organised, passionate about people with the ability to manage conflicting priorities to meet deadlines and the needs of stakeholders.     From May to July 2019 – Training and Development Administrator, Care South Head Office, Poole

    Reporting to the Group Learning and Development Manager, my current responsibilities are updating training records e.g. trainee lists, schedules, attendance sheets, preparing induction folders for 5 day induction and disseminate material (e.g. instructional notes, feedback forms). I also cover the HO Reception meeting and greeting visitors and fielding calls to the appropriate member of staff.

    Mar to Apr 19 – HR Administrator, Human Resources, McCarthy & Stone, Bournemouth

    On joining the HR team my main focus was to support the roll out of their new ‘Applicant Tracking System’ into Management Services iRecruit to automate, streamline and improve their recruitment process. I assisted with ensuring job descriptions and job adverts have been formatted and user guidelines were in line with iRecruit. I completed a project on EU checks for all staff for the EU Settlement Scheme which was completed in the given time. On a daily basis I have been working alongside the HR Administrators screening CV’s on CV Library for urgent roles on their developments ready for selection by the managers, and any other HR admin duties as requested.

    Jan to Mar 19 - HR Assistant, Human Resources & Organisational Development, Bournemouth University, Lansdowne Campus, Bournemouth

    In my role at BU working within the Recruitment team and my main responsibilities were production of letters, contracts, variations to contracts, probation and other related documentation for starters and leavers (including relevant pension forms). On a daily basis I was responsible for liaising with Directors of Operations/relevant Heads. Maintaining a proactive and efficient system of reminders for Faculties/Professional Services in relation to extensions to allowances and fixed term contracts. Ensuring wherever possible all paperwork is received by payroll in accordance with relevant deadlines. Provide advice and guidance to relevant staff and managers, ensuring responses are proactive and solution focused. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory (e.g. DBS), employment legislation and pre-employment checks such as referencing. I also covered HR reception on rotation meeting and greeting visitors, fielding phone calls to the appropriate HR managers and advisors.

    April 2018 to February 2019 – HR Administrator, Babcock International Group (Defence & Security), Bournemouth Airport

    My responsibilities included working on the Graduate Recruitment Programme for 2019 which involved sifting CV’s using our HRIS Success Factors and selecting suitable candidates to go to the next stage of testing and conducting telephone interviews. I completed working on a project which involved the mobilisation of staff in to the UK MOD sites. Day to day duties included starters on-boarding process, reference checking (BPSS), security checking through the NSVS portal, creating roles on Success Factors and advertising available roles through the Shared Service Centre, payroll processing to send to SSC, leavers processing, direct contact with site managers regarding vacancies, any other business relating to Recruitment. Collating the monthly payroll amendments data, including overtime, salary changes, new starters and leavers and ensuring all data is accurately entered and processed within the deadlines for monthly payroll. This role involved accurate data processing, good working knowledge of Word and Excel and excellent organisation skills, good working knowledge of HR information system Success Factors & Resource Link and supporting the HR Manager and HR Advisor (Aviation).

    February to April 2018 HR Administrator, Arts University, Bournemouth

    In my role at AUB I was first point of call for the HR department, answering enquiries and liaising with colleagues/stakeholders as appropriate to respond to those received by email/phone/face to face, undertaking administrative tasks and duties relating to the operational delivery of HR and a wide range of HR generalist activities, including the administrative tasks associated with the University’s Recruitment processes which includes start and finish paperwork for their on-boarding, probation periods and annual staff reviews. I was also responsible for maintaining holiday and sickness records accurately using NGA Resourcelink adhering to confidentiality and the requirements of the Data Protection Act during duties. Other duties included supporting three HR Partners in their business as usual duties.

    Responsible for UK Training bookings administration for new staff planning and logistics including travel and accommodation, supporting the L&D team with administration of registers for the core training induction across our 38 of our core London clubs. Long service awards administration, Support Centre newsletter and recognition awards, updating iTrent our HRS with all team members training, Superuser for our Accipio learning platform. Visiting the clubs to ensure that all new staff can use Accipio. I was responsible for the management system so uploading information such as our Business Launch, fitness calendars etc. Keeping the HR matters log up to date liaising with the Head of HR. Any other duties as requested by Head of HR or line manager.

    Nov 13 to Apr 16 Human Resources Assistant at Bowlplex, Branksome, Poole

    Leaving reason – Redundancy due to Hollywood Bowl buying Bowlplex.

    Responsible for the recruitment process once the managers at the sites send the information after interview from new starters & leavers documentation ensuring accurate records of employees life cycle, preparing new contracts, logging sickness absence, holidays, processing maternity/paternity, performance reviews and logging confirmation, Preparing payroll to send to Moorepay for approx. 500 employees across 16 Bowlplex centres in the UK alongside my HRD. To provide an HR admin service and to support the HR Director planning corporate meetings, taking minutes, planning travel and supporting the HR Business Partners in their day to day roles.
