Great - was conscientious and produced a great end product for us.

This job was about designing the cover and interior for a crime novel. Steve did a good job on designing the front cover. He presented four different options, based on a few lines of product description from me. We had a bit of puzzle in the end, finishing the entire covers (cover and jacket), because of some confusement with the measurements.

The interior was first set up in a bad way, leaving a lot of "widows and orphans", as well as other typographic errors. It looked like he just spread out the text, set a font and font size, and then sent it to me without even browsing the pages. At a point I wondered if he had actually ever done book layout before. He claims yes, so ... Anyway, after a bit of correspondence he fixed the errors and the book was sent for printing to my satisfaction.

We had a very short deadline and Steve made sure to exceed expectations by having the project completed days before the deadline.

He was excellent at communicating with our team and made changes quickly and effectively. He not only met our brief but also used his own experience to suggest new ideas that we had not considered to hugely improve the results.

We would love to work with Steve again in the future and we would highly recommend him to anyone considering using his services in the future.
