The quality of the work at hand was excellent, however There was an issue after the Job was done, I was told even though I had commissioned the work and was buying it for my brand to be printed on clothing that I wouldn’t own the full rights to the artwork which is a big NO, as the designer
Or Nayan would be liable to receive royalties/commission on profits made from sales, this was never stated and isn’t suitable at all, not that I mind, however this should have been stated before we got to work and not when the job was completed, if I hadn’t asked I would never of knew, and it could have ended in legal proceedings in the future, still waiting to resolve the issue, a bad end to a otherwise great piece of work.

Thanks very much for your appreciation. I am sorry for your inconvenience. Let me advise with details,
at first time, we thought it could be a seamless print, but the design thought was changed from a seamless Print to a non-seamless large Painting, which took a big effort to replicate the traditional painting. It now becomes a painting than a repeated small-scale print. And this is why I had to hold at least a copyright or royalty for this kind of painting. In the future, if it is a seamless print, not a large painting then I promise it could be without royalty/ commission. I Will transfer ownership to you, but for a large kind of replicated/ artwork it will remain the same, I hope you will understand it and support a good artist this way. Thanks very much.
