My Grandfather passed away in 1958 with no recorded image of him. My Mother is one of the last surviving relatives to know what he looks like and Jelena undertook this project initially for free but gave me encouragement, structure and method. She remained honest and transparent about her limitations and maintained excellent communication managing my expectations at each stage. She produced over 50 images to bring my Grandfather to life and reluctantly accepted payment.
