After reading through Alex's previous reviews, I'm wondering if my experience is just an anomaly, or perhaps explainer videos aren't his forte, or maybe I'm living in the Twilight Zone. I've been reluctant to post this because of all his good feedback in the past and I generally hate leaving negative reviews, but I feel a balanced and honest selection of reviews should be posted.

Alex made promises to deliver concepts that were rarely delivered on time (didn't hear from him for days, he'd promise he'd have it over by the evening, the next day, etc, and I'd have to chase him again and again throughout the duration of the project).

When he provided the full video, it was like everything after the first 20 seconds was done in a rush (huge chunks of time with no animation at all (one chunk was 19 seconds in the middle with no animation or movement of any kind, and another was the last entire 25 seconds just showed a static logo), plus loads of spelling and punctuation errors).

Having worked with lots of freelancers over the years, I feel this experience was more difficult than most in terms of communication and creative output. I'm sure he's a lovely guy, but from my personal experience on this project, I would probably not use him again.
