Chertsey, GBOur project perhaps required a candidate with more experience handling foreign currencies. Lillian is a very amiable person but travelling to client offices more than a few miles away and foreign currencies are most probably not playing to her strengths. However, our financial controller was able to make the required changes to the invoices generated by Lillian which has now put the business back on track and we have settled Lillians account in full as a gesture of our goodwill for having to bring our relationship to closure a little sooner than we had originally intended. We wish Lillian much success.

I worked with Gerry on a short-term bookkeeping project to generate foreign currency invoices as he had a backlog of invoices due to his previous bookkeeper leaving the company un-announced.
As to the point of my lack of knowledge in foreign currency dealing, this is incorrect as I have had substantial experience of foreign currency dealings working with a wide variety of companies which incidentally is a relatively straight forward process. In fact Gerry discussed with me about increasing my workload which I couldn't accept due to my commitment to other clients.
Travelling to Gerry’s office wasn't a few miles as he indicated but a total of 68 miles round trip. The payment received from Gerry wasn't a gesture of his goodwill but rather the agreed fee. I am pleased Gerry took my advice to assign all his accounts/bookkeeping work to his Financial Controller as oppose to three accounts personnel. I enjoyed my experience working with his company and wish him and his company well for the future.Lillian K.
