City of London, GBI awarded Anik the work based on previous reviews, however, our very first communication did not fill me with confidence.
I offered him the chance to withdraw from the work if he did not feel confident of completing the work as per the assignment. He assured me on many occassions that he understood and would complete the work accurately and within the time frame. However, excuses were followed by more (broken) promises that other buyers should be aware of.
I set out very clear instructions for everyone to quote.
I gave Anik a thorough run-down of what I was looking to achieve. I even gave him options to complete the task - asking for his recommendation and advising him that I would have been happy to hear his suggestions to complete the task.
I followed up with Anik to find out how he was getting on with the project only to be told it was a very time-consuming task and that he needs more time. I agreed to give him more time so as to ensure the task was completed 100% accurate.
The original task was to be completed within 1 week. We are now 3 weeks into the project and the result is that the work is incomplete.
Excuses included:
> the information I wanted was not available. Untrue and I provided examples.
> It was very time-consuming - I allowed extra time to ensure accuracy
> He would provide 100% accurate records - I have found mistakes already in the work
As I described in my request for a quote, the information I required is publicly available information. Therefore there should not be any reason why this cannot be discovered. This task was all about accuracy.
I have never had to write a review as bad as this and cannot explain how p!ssed off I am that someone has quoted for work that they simply cannot complete. I now have to find someone to fill in the missing information.
People Per Hour should be testing the contractor's work more thoroughly, as well as looking into contractor reviewsAnik D.
You give me great feedback.
But I provide 5* feedback.
because I'm not like you.
And just one thing I have already complete 15+ projects with 10 different clients. Everyone provides 5* with great feedback only you are different.
At the beginning of the work, I send a sample. You find some common mistakes. I correct my mistakes and get the job done. And now you are saying this.
Really awesome.
