    I am currently starting out as a self employed bookkeeper, who specialises in bookkeeping, payroll, VAT, accounts and office administration.

    As a highly, ambitious energetic and motivated individual, I hold excellent organisational and inter-personal characteristics. With a methodical and rigorous approach to planning and organising, enabling me to apply my own initiative to work independently or as a team member.

    I have exceptional analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, with the ability to achieve and accelerate to achieve targets and goals.     Job Title: Accounts Manager
    Company: Football Club
    Description: • Managerial attributes to managing the accounts department, and applicable staff beneath my job role.
    • Self management and management, mentoring and overseeing employees work, ensuring procedures and systems in place are adhered to.
    • Preparation and finalising of internal management accounts, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis, and in terms of paying Corporation Tax, including the reconciliation of all control accounts within SAGE Line 50, and providing supporting working papers for each account, on a monthly basis.
    • Managing income and expenditure, and producing internal accounts, on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis for the Burton Albion Community Trust, a registered charity, and liaising on a month to month basis with the Head of Sport, in terms of budgeted and actual income and expenditure.
    • Organising, posting and reconciling of the inter company transactions of the Youth Department and Centre of Excellence, within the company structure of Burton Albion Football Club.
    • Managing quarterly VAT, and preparing and submitting to HMCE.
    • In depth experience in maintaining a standardised level of credit control, through the monitoring of debtors and creditors, and adhering to the procedures put in place.
    • Budget preparation and forecasting cashflows for the forthcoming periods.
    • Projections and analysis of income and overheads of functions, matches and day to day running of the Club.
    • Analysis and monitoring of spends, per departments within the Club, and preparing monthly reports and notes to present to the Financial Director.
    • Preparation of Form P11D for the companys employees, and submission of these.
    • Daily use of SAGE Line 50 and SAPA, and posting of purchase and sales invoices to the system, paying suppliers and recording receipts.
    • Preparation of employees payroll on a 4-weekly basis, through the use of SAGE Payroll and previously Payroll Manager, including the management of employees lieu time and holiday, on a 4-weekly basis.
    • Reconciling and managing of all ticket sales on home and away fixtures, overseeing ticket office staff, and investigating anomalies and differences found.
