Permanent ONGOING Daily Data Entry - EXCEL. £135 a month.
Hi! We have approximately 3-4 hours of worth of excel data entry a week (around 30-40 mins a day Monday to Friday) - (copy and paste work from a raw file into the appropriate fields into excel). Also a bit of google research (sunrise and sunset times for each excel field). This is ongoing for as long as you would like the job. Most important is ACCURACY. Our product is a new baby product which features a baby’s birth details. Each line of data entry will be a baby and their details ie name, birth place, weight etc and then a simple sunrise sunset google search for the day they were born for each entry. We, of course, supply all the details in a raw, easily readable and deciphered, spreadsheet for you. It’s just a case of copying and pasting from one to the other. This is ongoing Monday to Friday. The work will be uploaded and ready to work on from around 3pm the previous day and the completion needs to be done by 9am the following morning (ie Monday's file will be uploaded on the Sunday by 3pm and it needs to be completed by 9am morning etc). GMT Time. The rate is £135 a month. You would need Excel (not OpenOffice or alternative), Dropbox & Skype. Many thanks! Katy - The Whistling Wren ltd.
Installer Guide
For a new product to be used by alarm installers, I need a simple guide to send out with the product. Ideally, it would fit onto one sheet of A4 paper printed both sides. There is some technical information which has to be present but can be printed quite small but the main part is a picture of the product (it's a printed circuit board) with arrows pointing at the parts the installer will need to locate. Associated with that are details for most of these. I have assembled all the information but formats vary - there is a PDF of my hand-drawn notes, OpenOffice Write files and an OpenOffice Draw document with the picture and arrows Ideally, one side of the A4 will have the key stuff and the other side will be the specifications etc The challenge will be to bring it all together in a bright and attractive form and provide me with a prinable PDF. There will be a follow up with changes in about 2 months time to update the whole thing as we move from prototype to released product
DockerFile to launch OpenOffice daemon
How are you? Would you be able to help us write a Dockerfile that runs an OpenOffice daemon and accepts request on the standard port 8100 (we use OpenOffice to convert ODT files into a PDF from a Java application that run's in a different Docker Tomcat container). When ssending your proposal please let us know what base image are you planning on using. We prefer either latest Centos, or Ubuntu 18 or 20. What is your approach? FYI, the daemon needs to run with those options: DESC="Libre Office Daemon" DAEMON=/usr/bin/soffice PARAMETER="--accept=socket,host=localhost,port=8100;urp;StarOffice.ServiceManager --nologo --headless --nofirststartwizard " If successful, we have follow up projects to extend our Docker environment. Best regards, Ralf

Submit first year accounts for a dormant/pre-trading company to Companies House
General information for the business: Bagmaker Industry: Lifestyle/Travel Kind of support: End of year account Accounting software: Excel Description of support work: I have a bookkeeping spreadsheet (Excel/OpenOffice) with 10 transactions for the first accounting period for my start-up company. I have access to webfiling at Companies House for the company and can file dormant accounts for the first year but would like to check some points. So I am looking for an accountant to look at the simple accounts that I have recorded and check that they are correctly made up. There has been no trading by the company yet but some set up costs have been incurred. I am expecting this to be a quick and simple task but I have to submit within 10 days (17 May) so I need to complete this coming week. Extra notes:
