Description
Experience Level: Expert
We are building a new site for a hydrogen energy technology startup. The company is commercializing a new technology for producing clean, flameless, zero-emission source of heat from hydrogen using a catalytic (non-combustion) process.
We need 6 pages of content, about 400 words for the Overview page, and 500 words each for the 5 market detail pages. These pages will introduce readers to 5 industrial applications for the technology:
+ Overview - An introduction to industrial energy markets in general (as opposed to consumer markets). These are energy intensive industries that typically use coal, oil, gas, or nuclear fuel to generate heat which is then use to drive turbines and run their systems.
+ Power/Electricity Generation - The industrial market consisting of power plants that produce electricity.
+ District Heating or Cooling - Systems for generating heat or cooling in a centralized location and distribute it through a network of pipes to commercial and residential buildings.
+ Industrial Heating and Cooling - Systems for heating or cooling large buildings.
+ Desalination - Systems for generating fresh water from salt water
+ Carbon Sequestration - Systems for removing carbon dioxide or preventing it from entering the atmosphere
For each of these markets, our current thinking is that the page should answer:
How big is the market?
What are the current state-of-the-art technologies being used?
What are the energy sources to power the system?
How much energy does it require?
What are the economic and environmental costs?
What ways are currently being considered to make it sustainable?
The content should be written for industry professionals such as utility operators, scientists, and engineers, energy finance professionals, investors, policy makers, as well as general public interested in sustainability. An example of writing style would be something like forbes.com or forrester.com.
