Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Num. of words: 400-500
Information for the blog/website: Family lifestyle photographer
Description of every page: I really some help with writing the 'About' section on my new website.
I am a family, newborn, children portraiture photographer (also offering sessions called Fresh 48 which are done within 48hrs of baby being born, either at hospital, birth center or home, to capture first moments, meeting mummy and daddy, siblings, grandparents, 1st nappy changes etc). I love what I'm doing, but I'm not really good with writing so desperately need some help.
Tone: Other
Outline & Structure: I have already tried one other lady from People per hour but I'm not completely happy with what she did. It's all too formal and not in the style I want.
I want it to be written from a heart, welcoming and just inspirational and very welcoming.
Here is what I told her about myself:
I want to info to be quite relaxed, like I'm a fun, relaxed person, not too formal.
So not sure what info would be needed and useful and what should be included etc.. You decide please, as I'm sure you know better.
So, I am a mum of 2, a boy called Leon and a little girl called Ella, she is a mischief, believe me!:)
They have a very carrying and loving dad and we've been together foe 16 years now! He is my biggest fan and supports my every move.
I had a DSLR for quite a few years. My dad was always the one in the family carrying his camera everywhere and taking photos. So thanks to him me and my brother have lots of great childhood photos. I wanted to continue that tradition and make sure my kids have lots of memories captured and something for them to look at in years to come and have a laugh... or share a tear. I love capturing them with dirty, muddy faced and hands, taking bad and with faces smeared with breakfast porridge. I just want to remember them as they are - funny, naught, dressed up etc.
I am mostly lifestyle photographer. I was asked once to take photos of friends kids - they loved it, so took photos of other friend family - they also loved it. All my friends suggested I should have a photo business and start charging - so here we go....
I loved when one of my friends cried when she saw pictures of her little girl taken by me - it's just so heartwarming seeing the emotions that photography can bring out.
I would like to concentrate on newborns photography, I just love love love newborns, soulful photos of beautiful, pure, innocent little creatures. But also families, couples, and hopefully one day soon - boudoir.
I will be offering studio and lifestyl newborns photos - so something to choose from, to suit different tastes.
I am based in Staines-upon-Thames, in Surrey.
I finished Uni with a finance degree, but feel I'm more of an artistic soul than finance
Not sure what else, let me know if you need anything else please.
I can wait to see the bio.
Thank you.
Extra notes: Here is a quote from someone else's website that I Love and how I would like my section to sound like. Heartwarming.
Photography is something so dear to me, It’s been with me and grown with me as I became a mother. Bad days & great days, I could whip out my camera and feel something. That something wasn’t always happiness, but I can tell you that I saw beauty. Beauty for me is always in a real moment, so if it’s a disaster of a house, with the corner of my kid’s mouth covered in dried ketchup, THAT is what I want to capture forever. The beauty in the every day, a saying that is so often used with lifestyle photography, but really speaks so much truth for me. From my kids’ tiny hairs, contagious smiles, belly laughs, tears, curiosity, high energy, pure innocence...and a bit of naughtiness. I saw glimpses of love, and such beauty that I knew I had to capture it NOW, and I needed to work on capturing it better.
I knew I wanted to show the highs and the lows of motherhood, the good and the bad about parenting, and that beauty, that beauty in the everyday.
