Description
Experience Level: Entry
Description
• Ognio is looking for qualified UK-based people to transcribe a series of interviews taken in the London area. Our work is community- and civic-oriented, and our research broadly focuses on how we can enhance people's interactions with each other in cities. This post would be ideal for someone who wants to get involved in a young start-up that seeks to drive meaningful social change through innovation. Students and non-academic researchers are warmly encouraged to reach out. If this assignment sounds like it's up your alley, we look forward to hearing from you.
Responsibilities and Timeframe
• You will transcribe a series of interviews (exact number TBD) from the start of the job (ASAP) until the beginning of February 2019.
• You will collaborate directly with our London research team and our multinational staff.
• You will work remotely.
Qualifications
Essential
• A desire to generate meaningful social change and shape business outcomes through your contribution.
• Enthusiastic about engaging with people, listening and observing.
• An interest in the intersection between cities and technology.
• Eager to work with a dynamic start-up and global team.
• Able to operate independently while within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Interest in survey-based interviews and qualitative research.
• Experience with transcribing quickly in a dynamic environment.
Nice to have
• Knowledge and experience in qualitative and quantitative research techniques.
• Prior research experience in a non-academic environment (such as user research) is an advantage.
• An undergraduate degree in a relevant field, such as sociology, anthropology, human geography, political science, urban planning or human-computer interaction.
