KEY QUESTIONS
Tell us about any other organisations you plan to work with to deliver this project, their intended roles, and whether you have any formal agreements in place with them (Up to 150 words)
Summarise your organisation's overall aims and strategic priorities (up to 100 words)
How does addressing youth loneliness relate to your overall strategic priorities? (up to 200 words)
Where will your project take place? We're looking for more specific information on where your project will be delivered within the region(s) you have selected. For example, a city, town or local neighbourhood
Will your project mainly benefit young people with any of the following circumstances?
Provide any other details of the young people your project will target. If targeted at young people with specific characteristics, why is this? If it will be open to a wide range of young people, how will you make sure it’s inclusive of those from diverse backgrounds, including the most disadvantaged? (up to 200 words)
Describe the current work you do that you want to build on and why you think this may be effective at preventing or addressing youth loneliness (up to 300 words)
Describe your plans to work with young people between December 2018 and March 2019, to explore youth loneliness and co-design innovations to build on your current work (up to 300 words)
Tell us about your experience of involving young people in designing services and running your organisation. How representative are the young people who are involved, and why is their level of involvement appropriate? (Up to 300 words)
What are the main activities you anticipate using the grant to deliver between April 2019 and March 2021? We understand some of these plans may change as a result of your co-design phase (up to 300 words)
Please tell us about the skills and experience of the key people who will be delivering this project (Up to 200 words)
Tell us what specific, measurable improvements in young people’s lives your project will contribute to. We want to fund organisations that can show how they connect and empower young people by helping them to:
• have enough good-quality individual relationships based on mutual trust and empathy
• feel part of a wider community that values their contribution
• have the confidence in themselves to set meaningful personal goals
• have the skills they need to achieve their goals.
You don’t need to deliver all of these outcomes, but we expect to see that your organisation’s work makes a clear contribution to one or more of them (Up to 300 words)
Describe your plans to sustain the impact of the work beyond the end of the funding. For example, this might involve:
• scaling up your work, joining up with other local organisations, or building the evidence base for what works in tackling youth loneliness
• raising awareness and changing perceptions of youth loneliness, so that young people and the wider community are more willing to take action to address this issue
• using and sharing learning from your project, to sustain the impact within your own organisation and others
• any plans to strengthen your organisation as a whole, so that you will be better equipped to meet the needs of young people in future
(up to 300 words)
