Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need a report consisting minimum of 12 pages (12 font) written in good Arabic language on the subject of teaching Arab students who lived abroad special Arabic courses in order for them to catch up to the acceptable level of writing, reading, and speaking Arabic language. The report preferably needs to be written by someone who has educational experience or is an Arabic language teacher.
The report has to be written from the a narrator's perspective. The narrator would be someone who has gone through training at a school in Lebanon for a period of one month where they witnessed the teaching of special Arabic courses to student who were living abroad or to foreign students who have arrived with their parents to Lebanon and need to learn the basics of the language in order to fit in to the local society. (Student ages range between 6 to 10 years old)
Please note that I'll use the terms writer and narrator interchangeably in this job description.
The report has to be structured according to the Arabic outline that I have attached (an introduction, Body, and conclusion)
Introduction:
The narrator does not have to say where and when they did the training (I will do that).
The narrator will first start off by saying what they have observed and witnessed during the training period. How was the material being delivered to the students? What was the main curriculum being followed? (I will send a download link to the curriculum followed but the writer will have to elaborate on it) What exercises were given to the students and so on... (I am able to provide further input to this but the narrator is free to place any content they can think of, it does not have to be actual, but it needs to be based on experience)
Body
Later the narrator needs to analyse what they have observed and compare them to certain teaching guidelines that are internationally followed in teaching special Arabic.(This may require some research, you can also use some contents from the attached curriculum. There are a couple of writers who have written on this subject of teaching special Arabic like Suzan Nassar (Jordan) and Kallas Chahine (Lebanon), but there is no need to stick with them, any reliable reference would do well) The analysis needs to be backed up by examples (I am ready to give a few actual examples but again the writer's imagination is required too here).
(Some actual examples include: The students have remained unable to read and write any basic Arabic, the teacher still needs to aid them in reading and writing. All they know is that Arabic is written from right to left. They have difficulty in distinguishing Arabic letters. They cannot put together a sentence. They can name a few objects in Arabic like shapes and colors)
After the analysis, the narrator will raise some questions including and similar to: Was the curriculum properly followed during the teaching process? Is this curriculum effective and ideal or are there better and more effective curriculum? Was the division of the sections and levels of the students optimal and could there have been a more effective way to divide and organize these levels? (Please note that the actual grouping as seen by the trainee was unorganized and noneffective, the students were not grouped according to age and previous level of experience, they were simply put in groups of 3 to 10 students, this is a very important matter that could be raised in the report)
After stating the above questions, the writer will now go ahead and discuss each one based on their experience, opinion, and based on certain references in this field of teaching special Arabic. It should be a comprehensive approach to each one of those questions. The writer would also say that some of the assumptions they made would not be that much effective and optimal after realizing some points of view in resources and references.
(Please make sure to keep looking at the outline attached to make sure you are following the correct structure of the report)
Conclusion:
In the conclusion the writer is to recapitulate and summarize what they have discussed in the report and a quick capture of the analysis. The narrator would then put final recommendations and thoughts into the report and new horizons to look for in the future in the subject of teaching special Arabic.
Please remember that you can be as creative as you like with this report. Good Luck!
