Description
Experience Level: Expert
I need a consumer guide to selecting the correct shower pump.
This is a very tough project as it requires a good technical understanding, not just of shower pumps, but also household plumbing systems and showers. I need a technical expert who can write a non technical guide that can lead your grandmother to make the correct choice!
It needs to cover the differences between:
SIngle Impeller and Twin Impeller
Regenerative and Centrifugal
Negative and Positive Head
It needs to cover when you might need/want:
Low voltage shower pumps
Low noise shower pumps
It needs to cover , how to identify the type of water system you have and if it is even possible to use a shower pump.
Sizing the shower pump, i.e. do you need a 1 bar, 2 bar, 3 bar, etc
All technical terms need to be explained in simple everyday language with plenty of explanatory diagrams and I would like flow charts that can be followed by a near idiot, to get to the correct answer!
The final product will be sent to the technical departments of the UK\'s three largest shower pump manufacturers for technical approval.
It will then be tested on a focus group of consumers to make sure it guides them to the correct decisions.
The project is only complete when it passes both the technical test and the usability test.
It will be used as a downloadable pdf and the flowcharts might be used to construct an online pump selector.
