Description
Experience Level: Expert
Num. of words: 400-500
Industry: Legal
Topic: sofware or business process patents
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: I have been asked to turn a blog I've written into an article for a particular service industry publication. Here is the blog http://www.azrights.com/media/news-and-media/blog/intellectual-property/2016/12/what-is-intellectual-property-and-why-does-it-matter-to-you/ As the article needs to be 400-500 words longer than it is, I'd like to include a section on patents. For example, say you have developed a clever chat bot that automates a business process methodology could you patent it? Essentially, if something was previously carried out manually, or in a non automated way, it is unlikely to be patentable simply because you've written a program to automate it so I'd like this to be explained in an engaging and interesting way. For someone with a general interest in the subject and possibly some understanding of intellectual property, the work should not need research to produce. Although you might make reference to US law, it is important that the article be primarily targeted at a UK audience
The time scale is tight though, so I would need it finished within 24 hours of accepting the proposal
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes:

Yes is the answer to your question about patenting. I could have this written by close of play tomorrow and could offer you a bid on this basis?
