Description
Tone: Instructional/Educational
Outline & Structure: We're a new startup building a platform that allows people to access expert knowledge on demand through a live chat interface.
We're looking for news experts to be available to respond to customer queries. We’re open to suggestions about the areas of news that we’ll cover, but they could include topics like local and world news, sport, technology, business, and entertainment. You’ll be paid well ($1 per minute) depending on the volume and frequency of queries you're able to answer.
In this initial phase, we're looking for a set of experts to launch the product with, so we'll be inviting you to engage in a 30-minute practice chat with our team (which you will be paid for) about a news area that you're knowledgeable about.

Alec S, Can you clarify the connection between "customer queries" and your product? What is the that you sell? Can you provide an example of a customer query? What would a customer ask, and how would that lead to buying?

Hi Alex. Can you clarify what you mean by 'news expert'? Someone who knows what's going on in the news, someone who is a Google News expert etc.
Alec S.18 Oct 2016Hi John,
By 'news expert' we mean somebody with an extensive knowledge and engaged interest in the current events of their field of interest. So, if you were a interested in being a sports news expert (for example), we would expect you to have a good understanding of the world of sport and the debates happening within it. The same principle applies to the other expert areas - we're after people who knowledgable about the issues and able to explain them clearly to our users. I hope this has helped!John A.18 Oct 2016Hi Alec,
Yes, clear now. Much obliged!
