Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Topic: English Functional Skills (Entry Level 3 to Level 2)
Tone: Instructional/Educational
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: My team are building an innovative programme of blended learning in English and Maths for students without GCSE qualifications in these subjects. We now urgently require additional authors to write scripts for the English Functional Skills online materials. The materials cover three levels (E3, L1, L2) and so authors need to be familiar with the FS spec and the differentiation between the levels.
The learning activities are contextualised around bespoke video scenarios and use a range of interactive features; all the materials are built in-house. Each unit should represent a maximum 2 guided learning hours (for each level).
Ability to work to tight timescales essential. Experience with writing materials for online delivery essential; experience of writing into templates desirable; Moodle experience a bonus.
