PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
Many UK employers require job applicants to pass numerical reasoning tests as part of their selection process. I provide practice numerical reasoning tests for people wishing to prepare for these tests, and would like someone to write fifty (50) fresh questions for me.
Although the complexity of the questions is fairly straight forward, the style has to be very specific; they must mimic the style of questions provided by SHL (www.shl.com). Ideally the freelancer will be familiar with these types of tests. The SHL website contains some sample numerical reasoning tests which will help the provider with the style of questions and level of difficulty to replicate.
The output from the provider should be a series of graphs/tables in MS Excel format and an MS Word file containing the question text, the answers, and a short explanation of the solution. I have attached an example of the format I am hoping from the provider. Each question must have a solution to it (i.e. the correct answer and a short explanation of how the correct answer is obtained).
Although the style of questions should mimic SHL, obviously each question must be original work adhering to copyright law (copying SHL's questions but changing their numbers or wording is still in breach of copyright, not to mention immoral). The 50 questions should be broken down into three or four per table/graph, as is the convention with SHL numerical reasoning questions.
So, to summarise, I require 50 numerical reasoning questions, each with a solution, that are similar in style to those provided by SHL. Project program is flexible but use 30 days as a basis.
LANGUAGE:
Questions and solutions must be written in well-constructed English. If English is not your first language, please consider carefully if you are able to achieve the required standard before submitting your bid.
CONDITIONS:
The buyer will retain all rights and ownership. The freelancer can research anywhere, but the content delivered must be completely original and adhere to all copyright laws.
The provider will submit as many revisions as is necessary to meet the specification set out in the Project Description above.
Please contact me if anything needs clarifying. Regards,
Oliver
