- primary task: website copy that both excites our visitors and drives SEO
- secondary task: Facebook ads copy that drives website clicks
- tertiary task: landing page copy that drives sign-up conversions
- quaternary task: blog articles that drive SEO and entertain
Writer requirements:
- great team communicator - we need frequent real-time contact to exchange questions, share feedback and manage project objectives
- use of an updated laptop equipped with Skype and Slack, high-speed internet connection
- Intimate understanding of the UK mindset - in several demographics - suburban youth, professionally employed parents, HR managers, product managers - and how to pique their interests
- passionate about following and refining a strategy to reach our ideal clientele
- mechanically flawless copy, but...
- no fear about breaking the rules when that is expedient
This is an hourly job for a solo freelancer who uses the Upwork time tracker while working, rather than a fixed-fee job that may be shared among a team or farmed out to subcontractors.
If SEO is not your forte, the team can provide guidance here, as this dimension is largely mechanical. The key requirement is to deliver great writing that motivates our visitors and speaks to them on their level(s).
